False Adverti*****t of Waterproof Phone

so i bought myself a Sony Xperia Z3 because they advertised it as water proof and because their adverts where so cool like they had a underwater store in the ocean in dubia but now its been a few months and i was taking a picture underwater and boom phone died. Now i don't know why it happened i ensured all the procedures where followed but i think its ridiculous that sony is producing a phone that claims to be waterproof but it isn't really.
