Subject: Complaint Regarding Defective Gearbox and Unprofessional Handling of Repair Request for Mercedes-Benz 350d 4Matic (2016) by Sonpark Motors in Nelspruit. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a serious issue with a vehicle I purchased from Sonpark Motors in Nelspruit.On June 22, 2023, I bought a Mercedes-Benz 350d 4Matic (2016) from Sonpark Motors. Unfortunately, in October 2023, the car developed a significant defect with the gearbox. Despite my prompt request for Sonpark Motors to repair or replace the defective gearbox, they refused to address the issue. As a result, I am currently paying instalments for a car that is not in use due to its mechanical failure. This situation is highly unsatisfactory and unfair, as I am being financially burdened without being able to utilize the vehicle. Furthermore, when I sought the Owner’s intervention in resolving this matter, I was mishandled and treated unprofessionally. This behaviour is unacceptable and has only exacerbated my frustration with this entire ordeal. I therefore request the intervention of HelloPeter, a platform for consumer complaints, to help mediate and resolve this issue.
