Complete Dumpster Fire

I ordered from these guys (Sonnenburg Cape Town) in the belief that they were local and a quality company…that’s what they want you to believe. Turns out they’re just selling cheap Chinese junk at premium prices. Well, I haven’t even received mine yet (so it may not be cheap junk, but it is at a premium price). I notice immediately that it wasn’t coming from Cape Town but from China instead. My order supposedly arrived in the country only to get stuck at the distribution centre. After a couple of weeks I contacted them to find out what was happening to be told that there was some delay but to rest assured that it was on its way and would be with me soon. Some days later the package hasn’t moved from the distribution centre. I ask for an ETA to be told that it seems that the package took a slight detour (their way of saying that it’s lost) and they would just send it again. I requested a refund instead. Again, though not surprisingly, I was disappointed to hear that they couldn’t refund me because they had already dispatched a replacement package. If you really want to buy from China, use an already established brand like Shein or Temu instead of these guys pretending to be Cape Town based.
