Teachers bully

I never complain like this, but seeing my child crying or being sad almost every day after school breaks my heart and I wish this feeling on no parent.

My daughter tells me about everything. At first I thought that this is typical teenage drama and I didn't pay much attention to it. I know she's no angel, but lately things has escalated to a point where the teachers humiliate my daughter infront of the whole class. Calling her names like "being ****" and no one should be friends with her.

My daughter is adopted and that is only one reason why kids pick on her...but now the teachers are acting like bullies too.

Homework and study notes, scope as they call it will be whatsapped. Even on Sundays we receive whatsapp messages.

Everyone at school, students and teachers knows my child's life story. There is no support for her. The only way she knows how to protect herself is with words. She is in defense mode 24/7. She trust no one and life has touhgt her that adults are not to be trusted. We as her new parents are trying to proof her wrong and gaining her trust again, but then I hear teachers talking down to her and tell students that they shouldn't be friends with her... Will they be happy if she sits alone without friends during break? Will they be happy if she is just not there anymore?? Do they even know how many times she thought about taking her own life? Teachers, who are expected to be role models and mentors, sometimes engage in bullying behavior towards students. This can have severe consequences on the students' emotional well-being, academic performance, and social relationships. Teachers' bullying can take many forms, including verbal abuse, humiliation, and ************.

The effects of teachers' bullying can be long-lasting and devastating. Students who experience bullying from teachers may develop anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. They may also feel isolated and unsupported, leading to decreased motivation and engagement in school

There was this one incident when a Gr 10 girl actually hit my daughter through the face! She is in Gr 8 and the school did not even contact me about it. We just received a suspended letter. That's it! She phoned me and her Dad. The school should have contacted us! When we asked for the video footage of what actually happened, they wouldn't give it.

We should really pay more attention to our children and the way they are being treated. I am grateful that my daughter opens up to me and gained my trust. I expected more from this "Christian" school she is in. They are the worst and do not have my child's well-being in mind.
