BAD HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE

A weekend that should've been a family gathering of birthday celebration, ended up being a dissapointment that we even left a day before our booked and departure date.

1. The guest bathroom toilet seat was broken. We reported it. 2. We couldn't use the heater as the plug was burnt and obviously unuseable. 3. We found what we thought was rat poo on both beds in the second bedroom where I was suppose to sleep after we moved the 2 single beds next to each other, we then foud a lot of rat poo on the floor. We reported it. The maintenance people came out to vacuum the inside of the roof. But that course more damage as the lice came into the bedroom. The handy man informed us that it is not rats but birds. My bed was full of bird lice and I found it in my hair as well. I could not sleep as my head was itching. 4. The couches in the lounge are not in a pleasant condition and is extremely uncomfortable to use. 5. The water pressure was very bad. You have to flush the toilets 2 to 3 times. I've struggled to wash the dishes. There was no pressure and no hot water. 6. The quality of the mattresses are poor. 7. The bedroom pillows are flat and old.

This was our first time at Sondela and surely the last.

It took 70 of my share points and definitely not worth it.

My levies at QVC went up to R16 000 per year and what I got at Sondela was not even worth R2000.00.

I am not a happy client at all and would definitely not recommend my stay to anyone.
