Rude & disrespectful manager!!!

On the 4th of November 2022. My sister and I visited the salon as it was recommended by a close friend of ours and decided to try it out.

The manager was so rude and unprofessional. In the middle of my session (threading & eyebrow tinting) the manager rudely interrupted my session without even excusing herself as she wanted to talk to the beautician.

While they were talking I was just looking at the beautiful job that the beautician was doing and wanted to pass on the word of mouth and took photos of myself. Unfortunately the manager assumed that I was taking videos of her as she was standing by the door behind me.

At first she asked me to delete the photos, while I was unlocking my phone and about to delete the photos and also trying to understand why, since it’s my phone and I was taking photos of myself. She aggressively grabs my phone and started deleting photos. Telling me it’s her salon and I’m not allowed to take photos. Not only did I feel disrespected but I was livid and I’m still angered by her behavior whenever I think of it. I just wanted to leave at that very moment but my eyebrows were not done.

She then tried to justify her behaviour by telling me about an incident that happened at one of the salons near (it was about 2 Nigerian guys), I didn’t even want to listen because I was so angry.

All I wanted was good pampering and a great experience hence it was the first time visiting the salon but I just couldn’t wait to pay and leave. Wanted to do my nails as well but I ended up not doing them because I was so disappointed.

I then went to their Instagram page and decided to write a feedback (DM), hoping they’re work on their customer service and not do the same mistake to another client. The manager denied the whole thing, which also shows how dishonest the manager is. I then told her that I will try and retrieve the photos that she deleted that day and then she started threatening me and saying her attorneys will be in contact with me. I am still waiting for them to contact me, the lady has no respect for her customers she thinks the entire universe revolves around her.

I did not even want a refund or anything of some sort, I was just giving feedback as a customer that was not happy. Hoping that they would assure me that this will never happen again, but all I got was threats from the manager and that she’s going to have protection order against me. I guess that’s how they deal with customers!!

However the beautician did an amazing job with threading & tinting my eyebrows. It’s the manager that I’m not happy with.
