I have an existing contract with cellucity and then went to take up another contract which i did. I received my handset and then experienced problems with it within 5 days , i then took it back to the store, the consultant and a technician checked the phone and heard the distortion on the phone so the phone was booked in to be taken to Vodacom Repair department. it was gone a couple of days and i never receive a call from Cellucity updating me on the progress. I had to contact them and they advised that they could not find a fault on the phone. I then asked them to cancel the contract, as to my knowledge from previous contracts if a fault is found within 7 days a new phone must be replaced but when i questioned this this was not the case, i was told that they will ask for the phone to be checked again.

I was told that i will be contacted within 5-6 days with an update, but this never happened.

I had to contact them and explained to the Manger that i am very dissapointed in the manner in which this was handled and i should have atleast received a courtesy call keeping me updated on the progress.

The Manager assured me that he will get back to me but i was given the run around again.

What happened to Service delivery? The rights of the customer seems to be side lined and i guess it is all about making target. Nobody cares about the customers plight. It is all about mass production and not quality.

The consultant/Managers will charm you to take the contract but when you are experiencing a problem they are always giving you excuses.

I was debited with a pro rata fee and now i m just thrown aside.

My advise to others, please be careful not to be taken for a ride.
