SOMERSET HOSPITAL DOES NOT CARE

The staff of somerset hospital has no empathy for any persons whether you are visiting patients or calling to know when the patients medication is ready.

I have been calling to check on medication for 2 days, we have now a patient without medication for 2 days after undergoing a hip replacement surgery. The patient is 85 years old! so you can just imagine how dire the medication is as she is in pain and she says that her operated leg is not feeling well!

Is this how you treat elderly patients that have worked for this city for many years and have been through hardships of apartheid. A patient that has been forcibly removed from her home and dumped on the cape flats! It brings tears to her eyes driving our of town seeing her first home on the hills of District six still standing strong with owners who have taken it from and you still treat her like this?

We expect her medication to be sorted with immediate effect if she does not receive this by today we will take immediate action.
