Ill Treatment

Good day,

To whom it may concern, the service and attentive care at Somerset hospital WARD 7 is appalling. The rooms smell of urine. The nurses are dismissive except for 1 Male nurse, Prince and 1 Doctor Gideon.A.

My father is was admitted 1 week before Christmas, due to diarrhea, he was treated in the emergency section, to stop the vomiting and runny tummy. But it affected his kidneys, but they also picked by that his kidney function decreased.

He was then admitted HOURS later. Then waited hours again to see the Doctor on call. He was placed on a drip, a few days later he looked better, but then a nurse a failed to replace his drip and he got weak again. Nobody could tell us who the nurse on call was. But it was all about covering up. When we ask for answers the nurses sit on their phones and pretend not to hear us and look at on another to see who will answer.

Prince, the male nurse was the only nurse that attempted to assist us and give us information.

New year’s day, he went back to Somerset Hospital, we were told he has water on the lungs, and he has bladder infection. He looked better, only to find out his in kidney failure, nobody said anything. We only got answers because we asked Prince and Dr Gideon YESTERDAY he 7th of Jan’2020.

Thank you to those two males. But the poor treatment is disgusting. The staff takes an oath to take care of the ill, instead, they have no passion for helping the ill. They won’t even call family members when he asked. They instead ask him why he wants to call, everything is fine.

I’m taking this further and in all avenues and channels.
