Bad communication with students

Today was a bad communication example. Students are on holiday and a special class was arranged by a lecturer for this morning. Imagine the student's dissatisfaction when they arrived at the campus only to be told, the lecturer is at the doctors without any communication to the affected students. Please improve your communication with the students. They deserve it and guess what, they pay for it and expect better examples.
