Waiting for Clearance Certificate since the 29/07/2021
Solver has promised our bond registration attorney to provide them with Clearance Certificate since 29/07/2021 and till today they have been struggling to get an answer from them till to date. We have even settled the Municipality for Rates and Taxes but we are still struggling to get an answer. They have charged us for water since February 2021 and we have not had refund for those months that we were them for the water bill.

07 Dec 2021, 14:25Dear Tshepo Unfortunately, we do not believe you have all the information at hand. May we request that you engage with the clearance department on the matter. At any point, should you not be satisfied with the response you are getting, please feel free to escalate this to the financial manager and she will be able to assist you further. In short:· A clearance certificate is normally sent to the transferring attorneys and not the bond attorneys. The bond attorneys sometimes do require an insurance certificate which of course is different to the Clearance Certificate.· We do not attend to the Municipal Rates & Taxes. We only attend to the body corporate levies. Therefore, the owner would need to contact the transferring attorneys for further assistance with the council.· We cannot comment on the refund (would this be the municipal refund or body corporate refund?) as we do not know which complex and unit number this is.· It would be best for you to contact our offices so that we can get your complex and unit number. Thereafter, we can dig deeper and assist you further. Needless to say, please be assured that Solver has a great support structure and if you need extra information and/or for something to be escalated, the management team is there to assist.
