Thank you for your email.
Kindly note the following:
- The complex was in arrears before Solver took over. - Upon taking over, Solver submitted detailed budgets and forecasts to try to get the complex into a better financial position. Unfortunately, despite being advised (and minuted at the Annual General Meeting), the owners present at the meeting declined the increase/proposal. This has resulted in the complex running further into a deficit. - The financial problem is also coupled with an owner and trustee reluctance to act against owners in arrears. This too has led to the Body Corporate not being able to meet all its financial obligation. - Contrary to what people believe, the Managing Agent cannot increase levies or incur costs on behalf of the Body Corporate, without the consent of the owners or Trustees.
In saying so, we can only encourage you to attend the Annual General Meeting to voice your concerns. Hope this helps on some level.
Please lean on us if we can assist with anything else.
Thank you for your email.
