Honda Civic Vtec 1.8

<p> To whom it may concern at MFC complaints</p> <p>Dear Sir/Madam</p> <p>I herewith want to bring to your attention that I, purchased a blue Honda Civic from Solo Motors based in Goodwood in Dec 2016, upon receiving the vehicle I noticed a few minor visible flaws ,please see the e- mail sent to them. My list of complaints was as follows.</p> <p>1. Noisy air con</p> <p>2. Bad dent on bonnet, with paint chipped off</p> <p>3. Left mirror casing broken.</p> <p>After a lengthy complaint via telephonic conversation, point 1, and 2 was fixed, this in all took approximately a solid two months. In this period that I tried to get them to commit and take responsibility I also then discovered a dry noise coming from the back wheels, Advise given to me at the time from older drivers all said to me it sound like my brake pads need replacing .This I communicated to them and Solo motors said that the vehicle passed fitness and they cannot see or think it’s the brakes, I took the car back several times and I kept on getting the same reply from Roy and Jeandre two salesmen there. Among other things I found out that the car was last serviced on 90 000km and missed services 105 000km. Jeandre the sales person there told us the vehicle has a full service history and even called the previous owner to confirm where the invoice was for these services as according to him was done at a non Honda workshop, this he said in the presence of my employer, Ernest Maasdorp .I was then advised by my boss to take the vehicle to Honda Tygerberg, for a general check, which was on the 20th Jan 2017, please see report attached.</p> <p>What Honda Tygerberg found shock me according their findings, less than 1.5percent usage was left on the brake pads .Solo Motors basically put my life in so much danger, and all this over the festive Season. According to what I summarize if they have done the service on 105 000km they would have picked it up that the brakes need to be replaced, even if they did a roadworthy test how did they passed the test if they took the vehicle last week for road test only although I was told in December 2016 the roadworthy test was already done.</p> <p>I never receive the roadworthy certificate to show me the was tested. </p> <p> </p>
