SOLNET ******* !!
If you ever decide to get solar heating for your swimming pool or for your geyser, never ever use Solnet. They installed my solar geyser and the workmanship was appalling. I am now trying to sell my house and the building inspector has said for any solar geyser installation you require a PIRB certificate. Well Solnet are definitely not PIRB certified, so when I asked them they did not even know what I was talking about. They sent me some ridiculous certificate signed by Rudi the CEO which means nothing according to the building inspector. I have now been quoted R 18,000 from a registered PIRB plumber to come and fix their mess just so I can obtain my certificate of compliance and get the transfer of my house through.
They also did the solar panels for my swimming pool, however they did not mention that the motor for my swimming pool was too small to handle the solar panels. So they came and did the installation for the pool and when I told them that my kreepy is not working, they simply said, "Oh that is because your motor is not powerful enough, you need to get a bigger motor installed". I recommend only using PIRB certified plumbers for your solar. If you ever decide to sell your house, you will be in for some huge costs.

A full solar system does not cost R 18 000.00 so how will repairs cost that much.
PIRB certification has nothing to do with pool heating panels.
SOLNET has all the certification in place and had in place since 1985
If you do have a problem Carey P ... pay us and we will come sort out any problems you might have.

This is a smear report as SOLNET did not do any business with this Carey P
A full solar system does not cost R 18 000.00 so how will repairs cost that much.

Please refer to invoice no R2433B for an amount of R 40,000 dated 9 Feb 2017. The sales person on the invoice and who came to meet with me in person - Ludwig. I assure you I did not make that up. If you say that you are registered, please provide me with a PIRB certificate for the solar geyser so that I may supply it to the building inspector. However, when I asked you for it, you sent me a made up certificate on your letterhead and the building inspector confirmed it was not even worth the paper it was written on. So please if you can supply me with this certificate and save me
R 18,000 for work that needs to be re-done according to the PIRB regulations, I will happily remove this post and get a life !

That is the very least I expected, however instead I was accused of smearing your name, that I am not even a client of yours and was told to get a life. You then told me I must pay you to fix the problem that you originally caused in the first place. I have paid you over R 40,000 plus all the additional call out fees over the past 2 years and you want more money from me.
Very professional indeed and your response says a lot about how you do business.
