Refuse to pay contractors after work is completed

Mr Rudi Bezuidenhout phoned us to help with his house wiring at his personal residence in De Tyger. On the phone he agreed to R 200 per hour. After working 6 hours on his premises he said he will pay via EFT on Monday. Once we sent him the bill for the agreed amount he refused to pay and just stated that he offers R 400 which is one third of the invoice. When we refused to accept one third of invoice as full payment and stated that we will use legal action to get the full amount he just told the contractor on the next visit that he must get his lawyer to ask for R 1 200 he will only pay R 400 to settle outside of court. <br> <br> Mr Bezuidenhout himself is a business man for Solnet Solar heating systems. He invoices the user for installations done on their premises. I do not know who did this to him in the past to justify that he can now pay for two hours and get 4 hours of labor absolutely for free. This is one week later and many phone calls and visits to his house has brought us to the fact that he had and has no intention of paying his invoice for services rendered to him by the contractor.
