We originally bought a pre-owned Opel Corsa OPC from Isuzu Dealer Middelburg.

Our Opel Corsa OPC developed a few minor issues over the first year of ownership Namely a broken aircon compressor, a petrol return pipe that was leaking fuel and a worn out gear selector cable. Our vehicle has a motor plan on it and unfortunately the motor plan was only willing to cover 8K for the aircon and nothing else as per the schedule.

We originally had the car assessed at another dealership in Midrand but they quoted an excess of 41K and waiting almost a month with constant follow ups on the process of getting approval from the motor plan. The approval process was not their fault but getting feedback fell on deaf ears when requested. The guys at the dealership weren’t even willing to make a plan when I told them that the aircon recon quote I originally got from another company was 8.4k Incl opposed to 15k Nett they were charging and they simply said I should then go and use the other people if I wanted. Not everyone’s pockets are suited to paying these prices to put in brand new original bolt on parts and paying the insane labour fees.

Ian at Isuzu Dealer Middelburg came in as the hero of the day and told me I need not worry because you will make a plan for me. You collected the car on a flatbed and left us with a courtesy vehicle free of charge and then proceeded to fix and replace everything in the vehicle and staying within 8K. I did not have to pay a cent as everything was sorted out by being intuitive and going the extra mile. Service like this is very hard to come by in today’s day and age where there is no focus on return business.

Our vehicle was delivered to us 2 weeks later with an ice cold aircon, brand new selector cables and a brand new fuel return pipe and we could not be happier. Ian you call on a regular basis and check that everything is in order.
