HORRIFIC SERVICE
Bad service rendered by the Owner right down to the Sales assistant at Solly's Auto City. Their lack of transparency as well as well as the manner in which they treat customers is appalling, to say the least!
On the 28th of October 2020, I purchased a Chevrolet Orlando 1.8LS at Solly's Auto City. I have since then started experiencing problems with it due to lack of transparency by both the owner and sales person when I took it upon myself to inquire about any potential problems the vehicle may have upon making the purchase. The owner as well as the sales person assured me that everything was in order and that the vehicle was in good condition with minimal to no existing problems. On the second week after making the purchase, I started experiencing problems with the vehicle which have ranged from: problems with the engine, bolt joints that needed to be replaced, head lights not working due to electrical switch being worn out, to name a few.
After experiencing these problems, I took it upon myself to send the car for a full assessment at the Chevrolet in Williams hunt. The estimated cost of the things found to be faulty was r37 998,55. I then took the document detailing the amount of things that were wrong to the owner, to which the owner questioned the credibility of William Hunt and the document as a whole and told me that the purchase had already been done. I acknowledge that the purchase has been done but the car is less than 6 months old, but the amount of problems it has are that of a car that is not at all in good condition. Dissapointed and feeling cheated are words that do not suffice in describing how I feel as a customer that paid so much of my hard earned money!
I am more than willing to escalate the matter even further to ensure that the owner does what is right and I get what is due to me.
