Disaster Solar panels....By Solco Solar!!!

Myself and wife decided to fit Solco solar panels to our roof 2015 August.

On 5 August we received our guide ‘what to expect from our solar panels’ .

Almost immediately after installation (08 August ) all pipes and bends started leaking….I made contact with Rohann Smith (The sales consultant) and the Solco team came out and sealed the leaks as discussed.

We left the pump off for the following 3 days as advised by the Solco team that came to fix the leaks.

Time passed and came to festive season and left for the holidays…Got back home…On 30 Jan 2016 I advised Elsabe that the pipes has been fixed just after installation and is leaking again on 4 different places….Can someone assist to get this fixed…Rohann responded on 1 February to the mail rather and said the Solco team will be sent out to have a look.

Titus was sent out with the Solco team and the leaks was sealed accordingly.

June 2016 one morning I woke up and it sounded as if it was raining…..

I looked outside and the whole solar panel was leaking from everywhere!!!!!!

I sent videos and made contact with Solco solar again in regards to this and asked Elsabe if there is a more permanent solution to the leaking……She sent out the Solco team and Titus on 20 June 2016…. Well they made a real good permanent solution for NO future leaks without informing me as the customer what the actually did.

I got home switched on the pump and….No leaks!!!Wonderful and thank you for assisting Solco solar!!!!

I got onto our roof myself Tuesday 6 September 2016 after the pump fails to work when I switch on the solar panels…..And saw what the Solco solar team did to assist with the permanent leaking solution….

Instead of fitting quality piping and sealant (also no sheet fitted under the solar panels) they rather thought it’s a better solution to rather block off the whole solar system at the point before any water enters the solar panels (Meaning the panels are de-activated) and they advised me as the client after ‘repairs ‘was done that I won’t have the same problem again…obviously as the blocked it off and never advised me what they did.

I made contact with Rohann again and asked what is going on and I cannot believe what I saw and why is this blocked off….

All he said is…I also cannot believe what I am hearing but will send Titus and the Solco team out again and get it sorted ASAP.

I received another system generate sms advising the Solco team will at our property on 10 Sep 2016 @ 08:00.

Only pitching @09:00 after phoning Titus and asking what the delay is (As its weekend and have plans ourselves apart from waiting for the panels to be fixed for the 4th time) he advised that he slept a bit in and that is what the delay is…..

Got to the property and did not even get onto the roof…As Titus advised he knows what the problem here is….

All pipes are leaking and beyond repair…That is why he was advised to block off the system. He further says he did advise Elsabe accordingly to order new pipes and fittings in order to get this problem solved and fixed.
What quality of pipes and fittings are being used on the systems when installed?

I am really upset!!!!!Apart from the pipes leaking continuously but the fact that it has been bi-passed without giving the client true and correct information after that was done.

I find what was done by Solco was ********* in so many ways!!!!!!!!
