so much for the warranty..

<p> As often, excuses in stead of action when repairs in terms of a warranty are needed. A low-pressure solar geyser was installed by Solargeysers4you in October 2011, subject to a 5 year warranty on the geyser. Earlier this year, when the geyser was leaking, they claimed that at some stage the geyser was damaged due to it running empty and that it is therefore not covered by the warranty according to the supplier. The geyser was fetched in May for repairs, but now they are not prepared to repair / replace it. Our last letters to them have gone unanswered. We were never told that anything that we have no control over (other than Act of God or tampering), could nullify the warranty. Eager to get your business, but not eager to help when the product they put in, malfunctions. I will not do business with them again!</p>
