Stay far away from Solar MD!
I have purchased 2 x 14Kw batteries from them. 1 Works fine, the second one gave problems from the the 3rd month of installation. The installer came out numerous times the fix it. The last call out fee was R 2500.00 to come and fix there *******, which you have to pay before they come. This time they could not fix it, as they did not a spare BMS unit in SA. So I was with out Solar for more than a month. In this time we had a Eskom break down like usual. And I gave up contacting them, I replaced it with a Dyeness battery , and no more break downs. In the 2 years that I have been struggling, Solar MD has not once rep**** to my calls or emails. These are very expensive batteries with no backup service. Stay away, you will loose your money!!!
