I bought a GHL-12-100 Battery for my home UPS in March 2022. The battery simple went dead about more than a month ago. I took the battery back to the Shop and spoke to the Manager Vincent, who was very unprofessional and not willing to help at all. When I told him my problem, he came up with all excuses and said the batteries in the shop are not made for continuous load shedding. I then asked him if I can exchange my battery and he refused. I then asked if I can then have my money back since I paid R2700.00 for the battery and he also refused. I then asked him, that if the batteries are not lasting why are they then still selling the defective batteries to the public, and I also asked him if the shop is informing the public that the batteries will not last.
