Terrible installation, terrible service but a good product

I'll start with the good:

1. The products they installed seem to be of high quality. 2. Their online quote system allowed us to easily shop around and confirm that they offered a good price for the products. 3. The solar system is working well and we've saved about R3000 on electricity per month for the first two months. 4. The installer we ended up with after our initial problems went above and beyond to try and resolve the issues, but once his hands were tied, nothing happened.

Normally, that would be good enough for a 3-star to 5-star review, but unfortunately, the physical installation team messed up on almost every step of the way, and after 2 months, our system is still not fully installed, it's dangerous, and we still don't have a COC.

Here are the issues:

1. The installation team broke both arms of our gas braaier by using it as a support. 2. The installation team left a box's-worth of unused *****s and rebar on our drive way, costing us two tyres. 3. The installation team cracked 30+ roof tiles, leading to severe water leaks into our office. 4. The roof repairman they sent to "seal" the cracked tiles kept asking me for advice on sealing a roof. I'm not the expert. 5. The roof is still leaking. 6. According to our insurance provider, the solar panel brackets they used cannot be used on our type of roof since they lift the roof tiles. This causes visible gaps between the tiles. 7. The procurement team asked me if they could replace the batteries with "identical rebranded" batteries. The new batteries had 10% smaller capacity and required a server case for installation.

Fortunately, the second installer (who, again, did his best to help us) had a too-small temporary case to use until a properly sized case could be found. However, this left exposed live contacts which are still covered by with loose plank. This terrifies me, since we have toddlers running around in the house. We also still do not have a CoC, since the installation isn't done.

The real issue is that I've tried to discuss these issues with Solar Advice for 2 months now, and every time I'm told someone will contact me about them, and then nothing happens. These are serious, dangerous, ongoing issues, and I can't get anyone at Solar Advice to even discuss them with me.

We have exposed live electricity, we have water pouring into our home office every time it rains, we had damage done to our equipment, and rather than providing a solution, they keep promising that someone will contact me about it while never actually doing so.
