Non existent aftersales

Aftersales is another story. It leaves a bitter taste in one’s mouth. Twice had problems, twice struggle to get Andrew just to phone me. Always to busy to phone. And so we sit waiting for Andrew to phone or send someone out to see what’s the problem.

After a week and a half they came and had a look at the inverter said they will take it out to get it fixed. When taking it out the MPPT connector short.

Later that afternoon it get a mail with a quote attached for a new inverter stating that the inverter can’t be fixed. The inverter is a year and 4 months old. He states that the inverter only has a year warranty, but if you call the guys that import the inverters it has a 3 year warranty. Even the place where they bought it, they told me it has a 3 year warranty.

It doesn’t help you leave messages at reception he doesn’t get back to you. You can send mails then he will only get back to you after a few days.

With the same start, it’s like a generic reply, Sorry for the late reply but we are very busy, Hmmm
