On 4 Juli 2018 I visited Soho NYC Salon and had a pedicure. The quality of work was below expectation but that wasn’t my main concern. During the process my feet were wrapped in clear film and a liquid was poured between my foot and the film. The liquid was acidic and caused large painful burns at the back of my foot between my heel and ankle. It was so sever that 16 days later my skin is still badly marked. Gerry Gizaw admitted that the liquid was acid and had burned the back of her hand. Also, that the a video of treatment revealed that the use and application was improper. However, she refused to meet me to see the wounds and resolve the matter. Own brand products in the salon do not give any information about the contents, use or safety warnings. The treatment was expensive andbelow standard. Handling of my complaint was difficult and frustrating.
