Purchase cancelation

I called this company to cancel my purchase /contract with them and I was told to send an email stating the reasons why I want to cancel my contract. I wrote them 2 emails and called them I was told they'll send me an email during the day stating the status of my cancelation on 2021-09-01-02 and later that day no email was received. I called again and I was told they'll get back to of which they did not. Their cancelation policy clearly stated that: cancelation within 5 days of purchase no cancelation fee will apply. I purchased their product on 2021-08-31 then sent a cancelation email on 2021-09-01 and 2021-09-02 that's within 5 days from the date of purchase, I am afraid that might attent to my cancelation and result to cancelation fee.
