Terrible customer service

I ordered a product on their website www.cateringequipment.co.za as it was a highlighted ad on Gumtree. I needed the product for 27 December. Once payment was made, I received an email saying I needed to arrange my own courier as theirs were already closed for holidays. I arranged for pick up as requested. I then received another email saying they are closing today and courier should be sent today. In the next email, Chantel (sales rep) told me that I can't arrange for pick up as funds had not cleared yet. She said I could get it in January. I do not need the product in January, I need it in December. I asked whether someone would be able to drop the parcel off at any Pick n Pay using Aramex service, once funds were cleared. She said nothing can be dropped anywhere. I requested a refund. She said I'd get it in January once funds had cleared and they were open again. Shocking service. I am disgusted.
