Wrong advise given as to machine purchase

I purchased an industrial meat slicer from the above company in Montana Pretoria. I did telephonically explain to the technician that I needed a slicer that can cut chicken fillet into 4mm strips. When I got home, I tried it and noticed that it does not work. It swallows the meat, and the gaps on the machine are too big to accommodate the meat. I returned it the next day. They were not willing to exchange it, or give me a refund. I am now stuck with a R6500 machine that I cannot use. Surely they should know their products that they are selling, and advise customers accordingly.
