Soetweide North B&B George - Refunds

i booked at Soetweide in George for Dec 2020 which meant i paid a booking fee of R1250.00. Due to the speech of our president at the time he titled George as the hotspot for Covid and i had to cancel our trip to go to George. i spoke to a lady and we settled that the deposit will be be refunded but i must just have patience because of covid and finances etc etc and she asked if i would like to maybe come back in the future but i told her unfortunately not and would like to request my refund which she said would be no problem, i must just be patient, which i fully understood and said end of January will be fine. I have been phoning them for a month now and every time it is always, we will get back to you.. it has been 3 weeks of trying and they never get back to me. i would like my refund back and no way did it state that you cannot get a refund when i signed up to go and stay by them. In all honesty, they are technically *****ing my money. if anyone is hoping to go and stay by them, either make sure you go and stay there and do not cancel because trust me, when you ask for your refund back , they will not do so. i know times are tough, but there are other people out there also struggling.
