Dishonest - selling defective shoes and bad treatment of customers (indispicable)

<p>I bought a pair of shoes at Socrati (Beyers Naude). The shoes fell apart and when I took them for repairs, they looked worse than they did before with glue dripping as if this was an old shoe. This was on Thursday and they were to speak to the owner about the problem. When we went on Saturday, the lady who I think is the Manager said to my husband she had told me that the shoes had a fault and I would have to take them as is (not realising that I was actually sitting behind her). When she turned around she could not repeat the same as she had not sold the shoes to me (talk about de*****ing your customers).</p> <p> </p> <p>They were supposed to speak to the owner again Sunday.... came Sunday... nothing....they took my number on both occassions (mind you). I eventually called today. Apparently the owner says I must call him at another branch (talk about arrogance). Told the lady I will do no such as what was the point of her taking my number (twie) and saying they would call me (top customer service I tell you). And after a No... at the end the owner will call me.... still waiting ..........I wonder when that will be.</p>
