Delayed Communication and Partial Refund Experience

I placed an order with Soccer Kids Hub but did not receive the items. I only found out that there was no stock after I followed up with them—there was no proactive communication from their side. When I requested a refund, I initially received no response and was unable to reach the business through the usual communication channels. After posting my original review on Hellopeter, I was contacted and issued a refund for the items that could not be fulfilled. However, every alternative product I requested—despite being listed as available on the website—was also unavailable. The refund did not include the delivery fee I was charged for, even though the items were not delivered.

I also received a call after posting my initial review. While I appreciate the effort to respond, I found the tone of the conversation to be unexpectedly firm and quite aggressive—not what I would describe as a friendly customer service experience. It’s unclear whether the refund was prompted by my review or part of their standard process. Based on my experience, I would recommend that future customers confirm stock availability before placing an order and be aware that delivery fees will not be refunded if the order cannot be fulfilled.
