Snuza Looksy app discontinue and customer service is the worst ever

I bought a Snuza pico along with Snuza looksy in 2018. I hardly used it and it is still boxed. Now I want to use it with my baby and the Looksy app was discontinued. Now according to customer service, there’s nothing they can do. So why do we buy an expensive product, look after it so you can reuse it and then all of a sudden the app is not supported anymore... and basically the Looksy video monitor can be thrown away. Even though it is still brand new.
