Snowflake instant WORM mix

Hi,

I purchased a snowflake mix last weekend. Upon opening it and sifting the ingredients into a mixing bowl I had noticed some solid items. To my horror the items were moving and it turned out to be worms!! I can not explain the horrifying feeling I was left with, please can you explain how this could happen?

I have taken pictures and videos of the event and willing to share with everyone to warn them of the possible contamination that may be ingested and cause possible death. I also have the production details from the package which was purchased at my local Spar.

Please advise as to how best proceed in investigating the matter further.
