********** advertising via takealot

<p>Snomaster distributes its products via takealot therefore must take responsibility for the ********** advertising of it's product via this channel. I ordered a Snomaster fridge advertised as being marked down from R10,800 to R7,200, the image displayed was of the Snomaster DB/C-60 so when I went onto the Snomaster site to review the product I found the same fridge and was happy with the specs so ordered it. On further investigation I discovered that the model of the fridge I had ordered was not the same as the model displayed in the picture and was actually a DB/C-60RS which is an old stock model and has never sold for anything over R8,000. The advert with the false image was designed to trick the consumer into verifying the R10,800 value of the fridge, because this is the price of the newer model displayed in the picture. Snomaster if you want to benefit from using Takealot as a channel to market you must take responsibility when they let you down as well instead of coining it on your old run-out stock - wont deal with either of you again.</p>
