The most dishonest people I've ever dealt with

<p>I stongly urge anyone to stay far away from these unprincipled people.</p> <p>I took my RunX to them because it kept burning up oil for some reason and there was a rattling sound coming from the engine. They told me it was a problem with the intake and it would need to be replaced. Then they also charged me for a new caliper which was apparently broken.</p> <p>After I got the car back from them, it was burning up even more oil than before, it now had a phsyical/dripping oil leak, there was a strange knocking sound coming from the wheels, and the engine made a terrible noise at around 4000RPM which was not there before it went to them. I sent the car back and all they did was fix the physical/dripping oil leak, and left all the other problems they clearly caused. They then sent the car back to me with the engine cover lying in the trunk for some reason. A week after I got the car back again it started making another (2nd) strange noise in the engine and it started leaking/dripping oil out the bottom again.<br />At the same time the RunX was in for a service they also had my Corsa bakkie.<br />The bakkie was sent to them for a basic service and to replace a "top shock". A couple of days later they told me that the head needs to be redone for some unknown reason which cost me small fortune.<br />When I got the bakkie back I immediately notices a strong petrol odor and found a huge petrol leak underneath the bakkie. They told me the tank sender unit had cracked and is now leaking petrol. This did not make any sense to me since the bakkie didn't leak a drop of petrol before went for a service. They then charged me R3500 for a new tank sender unit. a Few weeks later the mechanic brought my car back, and strangely enough told me he left the car outside in the street with the key in the ignition. I found this a bit odd because this was never how it was done before. I got to my car and found it was still idling. So I parked the car in the yard and when I switched it off, I noticed that the entire key was broken off and they just stuck the back end into the ignition. I immediately phoned them and they fetched the car again. After several days the car was returned with a new key to turn the ignition and a seperate key to lock and unlock the doors. I took the car for a test drive and realized that the ignition was faulty and would only engage the starter if the key was balanced between last and second last position. The car also keeps shuttering/jerking so much that at times it actually hurts your neck. They told me that some part in the engine is worn and that is now causing the car to shutter so badly. Again this doesn't make any sense since it never used to do that before it went to them.<br />Both the back indicator light aren't working either. I have had to replace about 2 or 3 indicator lights in abour 17 years of driving and these people managed to blow 2 lights in a matter of weeks and just left it like that.</p> <p>Then finally, during all of this they also took my Kawasaki KX250F because there was a MINOR problem trying to start it and a sprocket seal needed to be replaced. The bike had just come back from a major service and after taking it for a test drive I found it hard to start but once it started it performed flawlessly.<br />After they stripped the bike they came back to me with a whole list of thing that are wrong with the bike which was impossibe since I knew it was just a small problem starting the bike. According to all the "apparent" problem they were coming up with, the bike would never have ran let alone performed flawessly. I then told them to leave it and I'll come fetch the bike, and they told me it wont be possible since the whole bike is in pieces. They then charged me an insane amount to replace a timing chain. I wasnt happy about the price of the chain so I went looking for a timing chian myself. Within 10 minutes of searching I found a chain for a quarter of the price they wanted to charge me, to which they had no answer.<br />They have had my bike now for probably near 4 months and when I sent JP (the owner) a message to find out whats going on, he just completely ignored me.<br />It has now become a huge problem since all the vehicles they services are worst of now than before these people laid their hands on them. And by the looks of it they are either trying to ***** my bike or stripping it for spares.</p> <p>All in all, my vehicles have "apparently" sustained more damaged just by being in their workshop than all the damage in all year I've been driving, combined!</p> <p>Do yourself a favour and stay very far away from Snelle Auto unless you're prepared to s**** your vehicle after gettting it back from them.</p>
