Zero after sales service or honouring manufacturer warranty

I bought some woodworking clamps from them online. Despite the fact that the order took long to be processed and delivered (compared to other online stores), I originally could not complain about the service.

This soon changed: Within one month after my purchase, one of the clamps broke, which can happen, not their fault. The reason why I selected this specific brand of clamps, is because they have a lifetime warranty on their clamps. Thus, when my clamp broke, I was not worried. I took pictures and emailed Snatcher to lodge the claim. They bluntly rep**** to my email that this is not their problem. They stated that there is a 7-day cool-off period in which you have to test the products and notify them if there is a problem. Since this is past the 7 days, they are not responsible to assist me. They do not honour the lifetime warranty of the manufacturer, even though they are the customer facing retailer.

I was highly disappointed to say the least. I got hold of the manufacturer details via a different retailer in Cape Town. I made contact, and the manufacture replaced the clamp without any questions asked. In fact, the retailer who put me in contact with the manufacturer even facilitated the replacement, at no financial benefit to them, other than I will now support them with regards to all my carpentry needs going forward.

Snatcher is very quick to take your money, but their aftersales service is non-existing. I will never support them again.
