Snatcher online

Never had a problem or complain about snatcher,but my last order was bad.i only received one of the two items that i ordered.when i asked about it,i was told it was out of stock and asked if i would like a refund or store credit.why did i have to phone? They were suppose to let me know the item is out of stick and what do i prefer.
