Long delay in delivery

Ordered a few items on the 22/08/2019 that amounted to just under R800 including shipping, delivery time was between 5-10 days, still waiting for my order, emailed them and was told they waiting on 1 item to fill my order, really...why not indicate on each item at the order stage on how long the potential delivery time will be and client can make an informed decision on whether they are willing to wait so long for a specific item, very disappointed to say the least ☹️????
