In breach of Consumer Protection Act
Unfortunately Snatcher has rep**** to a request to return a poor quality item as 'unable to assist'.
Their reason: the camping chair was not broken when they shipped it.
The fact that the chair broke on 1st use (within 30 days of receiving the item) indicates a substandard product, not fit for purpose and it failed to meet reasonable demands.
The Consumer Protection Act covers this but Snatcher do not seem to be bound by South African law. That is my experience so far.
However, even online stores are subject to the CPA. And I will be taking the matter further.
So, please bear this in mind if you choose to buy products on Snatcher. You may see items in stock, pay for them and then are informed that there is no stock.
It will be interesting to see if I can get a credit changed to a refund as I won't be shopping at Snatcher again.
Snatcher send incorect items, incorrect colours and when a product is faulty and breaks....they say they cannot help you.
That is not customer service.
I did email twice and each time was told the same thing. I look forward to a successful resolution of this problem and then I can write another review about your customer service.
