I bought a LED fan light

I bought a LED fan light. The light works but the fan cannot turn on. No remote or buttons on the unit. I emailed to have it replaced and Ruth the consultant is now ignoring my messages. *****ing it into the socket is exactly what we did but only the light works. Not the reason I bought the unit. I can't seem to get a replacement or refund.
