Gas stove guards

I purchased 2 x gas stove guards that you supposedly could pit around your pot while cooking and it protects your stove from splatter. What I received is 2 x monstrosity of foil that fits at the back of my stove and protects my wall. I sent it back and they billed me for courier service and deducted 15% off the price i paid. So the items costed R199.99 but only received a refund of R75.75. This is outrageous 😳.
