SnapnSave is pathetic and a hoax

Here's the revised complaint for Hello Peter, incorporating the mention of the relevant regulatory body: Complaint Subject: SnapnSave - R450 Cash-Out Pending Over 6 Months: Misleading Advertising & Unacceptable Service I am filing this complaint against SnapnSave regarding a R450 cash-out that has been pending in my account since December 2024. This constitutes a delay of over six months, a timeframe that is entirely unacceptable and, in my view, indicative of misleading business practices. When I initiated this redeem request, SnapnSave's platform imp**** a straightforward cash-back process. However, the reality has been a protracted ordeal. My initial inquiry in December 2024 was met with an explanation on January 2, 2025, detailing a new cash-out system and potential processing times of up to 14 business days, with an additional 14 business days for audits. These stated timelines have been grossly exceeded. Subsequent follow-ups on February 13, 2025, and March 5, 2025, revealed further issues. SnapnSave acknowledged on February 14, 2025, that my cash-out was "stuck in the system". They attributed these systemic failures to "essential updates" to their tech code, citing new member growth and banking partner requirements. While I understand technical updates, it is concerning that an update, the first since 2015, has resulted in such severe and prolonged disruption for users. My primary concern is the apparent disparity between the promised cash-back service and the actual experience. The continuous excuses about "tech updates" and "new requirements" over a period of more than six months strongly suggest a fundamental failure in delivering on their advertised service. There is no transparent warning within the app itself that users could face such significant and indefinite delays. This, to me, borders on false advertising, as the core promise of readily accessible cash-back is not being fulfilled. I find it unacceptable that a company advertising a cash-back service can hold funds for such an extended period without clear communication or resolution. This prolonged delay and lack of accountability are frustrating and, I believe, constitute ******** practice. I demand an immediate resolution to this outstanding R450 cash-out. Should this matter not be resolved promptly, I will be proceeding with a formal complaint to the National Consumer Commission (NCC) and any other relevant regulatory bodies.
