Bad service from Trojan service centre

I have a Trojan Iron Man 500 treadmill. I need the belt replaced just to be told by the repair centre the model has been discontinued. Surely one of the new models have a belt with similar dimensions. Must I throw a perfectly good working machine away just because of the belt. No assistance from the service centre to find an alternative.
