UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICES

I have encountered a problem with the Smiley kids Principal from Albemarle Gina Jorge, yesterday we had an argument amongst ourselves.

On morning Friday the 2nd September 2016 one of the teachers grabbed a plastic out of my hand and dropped my phone, my screen went blank. Later that morning she called me at my workplace to apologise and offered to cover the cost for repairs. Monday morning when dropping my son off, I informed her about the process of the repairs and cost that I got from VodaWorld.I also told her that unfortunately I have to pay as my phone was not insured. The teacher(Tina) than offered to pay half of the cost and planned on getting a loan from work which she will pay off monthly.

Yesterday she called saying that the principal (Gina Jorge) would like to meet with me in the afternoon when I pick up my son. I got to the centre I met the teacher (Tina) and she asked if I can go fetch my son and we could speak on my way out. As I got back to reception I could not find the teacher that’s when I asked where she was. The principal approached me in a unprofessional manner(pointing her finger and shouting “You will not speak to Tina”). I was confused at this approach and followed her as she summoned me like a small child to her office. In her office she continued shouting that Smiley Kids was not liable for this. I tried to explain that I was not asking her to fix my phone but this was impossible as she would not give me a chance to speak. I started getting furious as she was doing all of this in front of my son. She than shouted “THIS BLACK LADY IS MAKING A NOISE IN MY OFFICE” in response I called her a ****** *****. I had all documentation from Vodaworld with me but she refused to look at anything and called me a *****. Security was called to remove me from her premises and told me that I must not bring my son back to her school. Her husband was present and tried calming her down but to no avail.

She has embarrassed me in front of parents, teachers and my son and the manner she approached this whole situation was totally unprofessional. My son is traumatised with all Gina’s swearing and the first thing he told his dad when we got home was that his teacher was saying “****ing ****” to mummy. This is totally unacceptable. I never said the teacher should pay for my phone but she offered to meet me half way.

I tried to communicate with her(Gina) but she's unavailable

i am also not happy that she expects me to pay school fees yet she's the one who chased my child out of school.

I am deeply hurt and upset with this matter and now my son no longer has a school as I’m also afraid to take him back.

I would like Gina to apologise to me in person in front of the people she embarrassed me.

Please urgently assist.
