Paying for services not being received

<p>Smile property group is an absolute disgraceful organization. I moved into an apartment that was not cleaned -note that I had to pay an inspection and preparation fee of R1500 -it was disgusting to say the least. When I phoned them to ask why my apartment was not cleaned they promised to send someone but this took a week full of empty promises. </p> <p>Dries the regional manager in the Pretoria area is an absolute unmannered and unhelpful rude person ,who told me I must clean my own apartment and he refused to assist with the breakages in the flat which included a broken lock at the main door and a hanging wooden door several cupboards and drawers that need serious attention. He told me that he spoke to the ladies at the office and they told him they've cleaned the apartment and that he thinks I am lying to him because it's the employees' word against mine and he can't prove who is telling the truth now . He said that that was not his problem and I should get someone to clean the apartment -note i've already paid the inspection and preparation fee of R1500 - I was stunned by the manner he treated me as I am a client and this is after I paid 15k in deposit and first month rental. I was told I can fix it myself im only renting and can go buy a place if im not happy.</p> <p>Very very disappointed considering this is my first place on my own .</p>
