I’m not ‘Smile’ing.

Yesterday I received my order from Smile Education. Included in the order was Pegboard Combo, which is completely unusable because the size of the holes, in many cases, are too small for the pegs. The pegs are also badly finished, making working with it a completely frustrating experience. I used this Smile product intensively in the past and it was excellent. Another hugely important difference is that the cards, which used to have suggested questions to use with a child, now have the completely unnecessary information regarding how many blue, red, yellow etc pegs you are going to need to do that card. Really? The guidelines to parents that have been removed enabled anyone working with a child to use the product in a way that maximized conceptual growth, and reflected the knowledge and wisdom of educational experts. All gone? Why? Hugely disappointed.
