Bmw most unreliable car

In 2018 I bought a 2017 BMW 318i at SMG Tygervally, I have been more than happy with the vehicle up until it started giving me problems this year and became very unreliable.

I am an acute Dialysis practitioner and my work is dependant on my own transportation as I get called out at any hour of the day/night to dialyse acute renal failure patients who are admitted in hospital mostly ICU.

In June 2020 my vehicle broke down whilst on duty without any warning and notification. BMW oncall collected the vehicle and took it to SMG Service centre Tygervally, BMW oncalll assisted me with a rental car which was very needed. The fuel pump of the car faulty and was replaced.

In September I took the car to SMG Tygervally as it had a jerking effect when the car idle this was the third time this was reported to them, but finally it was resolved,

Early November the car did exactly the same as it did in June without any warning or notification the car just failed, I suspected it was the same problem as the car did exactly the same,I called for road side assist from my insurance company and they towed the car to SMG Tygervally, SMG called me and confirmed that it was the fuel pump again and they will repair the vehicle at their cost as my car was now over 100 000KM , the found that another component was faulty that caused the fuel pump to fail and both were replaced. SMG assured me that the vehicle is fully repaired and it will not give me the same problem,

The first week of December while I am on duty on my way to a critically ill patient. the car did exactly the same and failed me in the middle of the road. I called my insurance company for road side assist, and they refused to assist as the benefit has been depleted for the year. I had to look for a tow truck myself at my own cost which was not cheap to remove the car from the road and transport it to SMG Tygervally. This car is proven to be unreliable and will fail me at any time. I am scared to drive at night and to go on long distance trips as I do not trust the vehicle.

As all of the above happened when I was on duty and unable to attend to my patients I'm on my final written warning at work, I'm facing disciplinary action at work as the last patient lost his life as I could not get to the patient due to car problems, which could have been avoided.

My experience with BMW is not very good and I'm extremely unhappy. I decided that I do not want that car back for obvious reasons. Financially I am not in a position to trade the vehicle or to apply for additional car financing.

I would appreciate it if this matter could get urgent attention
