Vehicle sold under false pretences
I placed a bid online for a vehicle "starter" which was a Ford Ranger on the 21st August 2024 and after winning the bid I went to SMD Chamdor for collection, upon arrival the vehicle could not start and it was a cut and join and the welding on the vehicle was visible, when i lodged a complaint with the manager I was told there was nothing he could do and if I was not going to take the vehicle in that condition I was going to forfeit my R5000 deposit.
I informed head office and I was told the branch has the final say, I feel SMD is now ****ming customers and selling cars under false pretences. Please becareful of SMD and their tricks
