Timed auction error
I was browsing cars on timed auction and I mistakenly pressed the autobid button since there was no bidder at this stage it automatically picked the reserve price of R 21 000.00 I looked for the undo/reverse button there was none this happened around 00:15 of 10 June 2015. I immediately emailed SMD and phoned their call centre unfortunately tthey were closed waited for 08:00am when the call centre opens spoke to Abel, she told me there are sorry there is nothing they can do my deposit will be taken by SMD and I may me blacklisted. I tried to communicate with SMD before the auction ends at 09:15 of 10 june 2015 which is like 40 minutes away.

In order to place an Autobid, you must first press the Autobid button, and then enter a price, and then confirm the Autobid. Autobids are bids and therefore final in terms of our terms and conditions. We would not reverse the bid for any reason, as this is manipulating the auction process.
In terms of not paying for your purchases or wishing to cancel a sale, our standard terms and conditions also apply, and therefore you will forfeit your deposit.
Please be advised that SMD is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:30 daily.
