SMD - Unfair bidding process
I have been bidding for a vehicle since 22 December 2017, a 2005 Toyota Quantum 14 seater which was at the Boksburg branch. I have been watching this vehicle since the 22nd and to my dismay, today at around 10:am just before the auction ends, SMD pulls off the vehicle from the live auction and puts it back into the "Coming Soon" category. I was the only bidder and because SMD didnt get many bidders they decided to pull the vehicle off the auction without informing me.
I think this is unfair business practice and this will be the last time i will be bidding in SMD

I have since gone back in the bid history on this vehicle in question, and the first time when you bidded on the vehicle, your maximum bid was R76000.00, however you were out-bidded by another buyer who bidded R77000.00, so that would have automatically eliminated you bid.
The second time round when the vehicle was on timed bid, you did not bid at all for the vehicle.
Should you still feel dissatisfied regarding this matter, please feel free to pop in at our branch and I will gladly show you the bid history where you will be able to see who bidded for the vehicle.
