SMD Daily Sales Auction - lie - change time if bit is successful

Today from 9am to 9:09am, I bit for a car that was expiring at 9:10am on SMD Online daily sales. when 9:10am time reached, I was the last person who bit and was so happy that I got the car. Then SMD expiry date is now extended to 05 May 2021 00:00. The expiry date on this car has always been 9:10am, 04 May 21.

When I called SMD call Centre, I'm told the system was offline but we could bit for the car. SMD is playing games here. How do you allow people to bit for a car when system is offline? How do you allow a person to be last person to bit/won if you know you dont want the person to get the car? How do you allow bit to continue if the system was offline until next day? I'm so disappointed and hurt as I really want the car and spent lots of time checking the car and making sure I'm not late for bit.
